Figured it was time to group most bread machine recipes in one single entry. Betty Crocker’s Bread Machine Cookbook has been my savior since I purchased a machine, and the following recipes have been strongly influenced by this book.

All recipes yield a 1 1/2-pound loaf.

Ingredients should be at room temperature.
Lightly spoon and level flour into measuring cups, do not scoop.

Instructions for all recipes:
Place all ingredients in the pan, following manufacturer’s instructions. Promptly remove from pan once baked. Let cool on a wire rack before slicing and storing.

Tahini Bread

1/2 cup tahini paste
1 cup + 2 T water
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 t fine sea salt
3 T packed light brown sugar
2 t bread machine yeast

Whole Wheat Rye Bread

1 cup + 3 T water
1 T margarine
1 1/2 cup bread flour
1 cup white whole wheat flour
3/4 cup dark rye flour
2 T soy milk powder
4 t vital wheat gluten
2 T light brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 t fine sea salt
2 1/4 t bread machine yeast

Currant Oatmeal Bread

1 1/4 cup water
2 T margarine
1 3/4 cup bread flour
1 1/4 cup white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup dried currants
3 T packed light brown sugar
2 T soy milk powder [full fat, plain]
1 1/4 t fine sea salt
2 t bread machine yeast

Rye Bread

1 cup + 3 T water
1 T soft margarine
2 cups bread flour
1/2 cup white whole wheat flour
3/4 cups dark rye flour
2 T vital wheat gluten
2 T soy milk powder
2 T packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 t fine sea salt
2 1/4 t bread machine yeast

Whole Wheat Oatmeal Bread

1 1/4 cup water
2 T margarine
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
3 T packed light brown sugar
2 T soy milk powder
1 1/4 t fine sea salt
2 t bread machine yeast

Currant Apple Bread

3/4 cup + 2 T water
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 T vegan margarine
1 1/2 cup bread flour
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3 T wheat bran
1/3 cup dried currants
2 T packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 t fine sea salt
1 1/2 t bread machine yeast

Oatmeal Beer Bread

1 cup flat oatmeal stout
1/4 cup pure water
2 T margarine
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
3 T packed light brown sugar
2 T soy milk powder
4 t vital wheat gluten
1 1/4 t fine sea salt
2 t bread machine yeast

Agave Bran Bread

1 cup + 2 T soy milk
1/4 cup agave nectar
2 T margarine
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 T wheat bran
4 t vital wheat gluten
1 1/2 t fine sea salt
2 t bread machine yeast

100% Whole Wheat Bread

1 1/4 cup unsweetened soy milk
2 T margarine
3 cups whole wheat flour
3 T wheat germ
4 t vital wheat gluten
2 T packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 t fine sea salt
2 t bread machine yeast

Sauerkraut Rye Bread

1 cup well-drained sauerkraut
3/4 cups pure water
1 T molasses
1 T margarine
1 cup dark rye flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/4 cups bread flour
4 t vital wheat gluten
2 T packed light brown sugar
1 t fine sea salt
1 1/2 t bread machine yeast

Pesto Bread

1 cup + 2 T pure water
1/3 cup pesto of your choice
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3 T wheat germ
4 t vital wheat gluten
2 T packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 t fine sea salt
1 1/4 t bread machine yeast
