Broccoli Pesto

4 cups steamed broccoli florets
2 T roasted sunflower seeds
1 t sea salt [or more, to taste]
4 garlic cloves, pressed
1 t dried basil
1/2 cup fresh parsley, packed
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

place all items in food processor, except oil. process until pureed. drizzle in olive oil, process until it forms a paste.
serve mixed with pasta, or however you fancy.

  2. Sounds like a great, and very healthy, alternative for regular pesto! Thanks for posting!

    Also really really enjoyed your quackers. John loved them, he even said they were better than goldfish! Score!
