Pumpkin Galore!
September 30, 2007 at 2:45 pm | In Uncategorized |pumpkin buns made as a combo of this and this, but with small changes.
flours used are kamut [1 cup] and bread [2 cups], 2 T vw gluten added, unsweetened soy milk instead of water.
once the bread machine dough cycle is done/the dough has been left to rise for about 90 minutes, just punch dough down, divide into 6 equal parts, quickly shape into balls, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for another 50 minutes on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
bake in a preheated oven [375F] for 20 minutes or until they’re golden brown and sound hollow when bottom is tapped.
no recipe for this: I just threw everything in a bowl and hoped for the best.
they’re made with organic whole spelt flour, and sweetened with agave nectar.
I don’t even care if I turn orange from all the pumpkin I’m eating.

You are killing me with all the pumpkin stuff! I am going to do something pumpkin today. You are definitely taking me to the “orange” side…I just recovered from being a pumpkinholic! I am falling back into a pattern, you know the one where the doctors as you if something is wrong because you look jaundice all the time! I don’t care either, it is fall and I am giving in!

Oh my goodness the pumpkin waffles look delicious! I love the shape of them, what kind of waffle iron do you have?

Gorgeous! Your photos always look perfect Celine! Love the pumpkin theme too–even if we are getting into spring around here.

this is the waffle maker I have, Shannon. I didn’t cover the surface so that they wouldn’t be too big. ;)
thank you Melisser! make me blush, why dontcha? not that I have any control over what my bones do, pity that.
mmmm, Liz, yes! I agree this would be a marriage made in heaven, that pudding and the waffles.

I think it’s safe to say that I would also sacrifice turning a little orange to be eating all of your yummy pumpkin treats!!
Pumpkin waffles are the best! I can’t believe my first try making these (or any) waffles turned out so well (I’ve always had a fear of sticking….).

Oooh, your buns are lovely! Dr. Fuhrman (Eat to Live) says being orange is a sign of good health, so - there ya go! I remember how good your pumpkin bread is. I must make it again soon.
