I’m typing this with Hot-Sauce’d fingers, ya know.

why did I wait so long before making these?
perfect collaboration with mom too, at the assembly line.
ditto these. no idea why I haven’t made them before. I seem to be on a sesame kick lately, after yesterday’s hummus and this morning’s sesame cookies from My Sweet Vegan [no pictures, sorry]. same “no pictures, sorry” deal when it comes to Damn Tasty Vegan’s Banana Bread about which Bazu always had so much good to say.
yeah I know, I’m a pain in the asparagus [thanks, PPK forums] for constantly talking about a book that’s not available for sale anymore, but I guess…I was drawn to be a pain in the ass?
I wish Kris would change her mind and re-publish my favorite baking book. if not now, at least someday? ah well. I’ll quit whining about it and go on with the eating of above-mentioned goodies.

We LOVE those tempeh wings in our house. Ken has stated that if he ever meets the girl who invented the recipe, he will hug her. And the man is particular about his personal space, so that’s saying a lot!

I still haven’t made the wingz either! I do have some asparagus though. I also have Damn Tasty, but never use it! weird.

Mmmm, your wings and asparagus look so good! And beer! You’re so right, those wings are really good assembly liners.
Oh, and did someone on the PPK say something about talking about DTV?? Who was it? I’ll kick their ass! Seriously, though, that book is too good to be out of print. =(

your hot & saucy tempeh looks like every kind of wonderful.
and don’t worry too much about not feeling like taking pictures. it happens to all of us. er, well, i can only speak for myself - but i know what you’re talking about!

no no, Bazu, no one said anything about DTV on the PPK [haha], I was just crediting them for “pain in the asparagus”, is all.

I just made these today and posted them to my blog! I absolutely adored them. It was my first taste of tempeh, but I’m definitely hooked on this recipe.
