Win Cookies That Will Travel
May 22, 2008 at 8:05 am | In cookies will travel |As a thank you for the kick-butt support I’ve received ever since starting food blogging, I’m going to randomly* pick the recipient of a batch of cookies baked by yours truly!
how to do it? simply leave a comment on this very entry by Friday, May 23nd at 12am, PST.
I will make a post stating who the winner is, and we will then get in touch by e-mail to figure out the logistics such as possible allergies, food dislikes, and address.
the cookies (not necessarily the ones seen at the top of this entry, by the way) will be baked fresh the week after and sent out to you that same day.
(psst: it might become a monthly thing too, so if you don’t win this time, you get to try again later.)
please note that for monetary and freshness reasons, I can only ship cookies to participants who live in the US.
another freshness issue: no chocolate chips will be used during the Summer months, which have unfortunately already started where I live, to avoid melting disasters.
*you don’t have to sing my praises! fate’s hand will choose you. or, you know, teh internets will.

oh man, could i use a batch of cookies. in the last month or two, i’ve moved to a new city (where i know two people) and started a new job–a rewarding and exciting one, but it still has been a lot rougher to adjust than i originally thought it would be. all that = stress. cookies, on the other hand, are the best kind of not-stress. :)

Aaaaaaw damn :( Let me know when you’ve developed a recipe for cookies that stay fresh for a long time so you can send them to foreign countries ^^
you and your cookies (and all the other food things) rock, Celine
hurray for beautiful blogs with daily updated delicious food recipes and pictures!
Comment by Lissa — May 22, 2008 #
That’s so nice of you, Celine! And, honestly, we’re the ones who should be thanking you. Your blog and all the yummy food ideas you post on it are such in inspiration to so many people!
And, of course, I hope I get randomly picked for those cookies…if you’re up for a gluten-free cookie challenge!

What a generous gesture!
Your food blog inspires me to push my boundaries and fire up the oven more often. As a new mom, my baking time has been cut short, though. I’d love to win a batch of your cookies. Who hasn’t scrolled through your entries and thought, “Whoa! I bet that tastes fabulous.” What fun! : )
Good luck, everybody. : )

What can I say, LO!
Behold, the golden cookie of sweet success,
the blending of chocolate, marzipan and the old oats of meal,
yielded and married by flour, love, and hand,
Preached by a ribbon, and witnessed by sugar and tea.
For if anyone objects, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Your photos are always well done and I love that you make smaller batches for those of us who can’t down three dozen of the same thing. I have been looking for the perfect vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe for 10 years– since I became vegan and a few months later met my husband! Thank you thank you thank you.
