17.Feb.2010 Books, Books, Books…
The mini Bundt cake is not a lie, but something I tested for Mihl. The tasty recipe will appear in the new project of a well-known baker and blogger. Could this be left any vaguer? It could if it tried really hard.
Speaking of great project, Alice sent me a copy of her book called Colazioni & Merende, and it’s not only a great way for me to refresh what’s left of the years I spent studying Italian, but also aimed at nourishing children (and grown-ups) with foods that are better than store-bought chocolate bars and other snacks loaded with unhealthy crap. Alice tells me she might make an English version of it when time permits, and I really hope she will as I believe lots of people would benefit from her doing so.
Last but not least, Tami‘s American Vegan Kitchen is out! And I made her Crispy Bottom Peanut Butter Pie twice already! Somebody needs to stop the insanity. It’s super simple and quick to make and…that could be a problem. There’s so much I want to try from it, I might need bigger pants. And considering Tami posted the recipe, you might too.
(Good thing she offers a great selection of salads and soups, too, I need to cut back on sweet things, in all seriousness. Oof.)
