10.01.2012 Lately.

It was so warm here in California last week that shorts almost came in handy (or is it, leggy?) way before their due time.
Hence the huge mason jar filled with bubbly, unsweetened apple juice, perked up with a few wedges of lemon.

To the right: Olive Oil & Thyme Oatcakes from Vegan Christmas, written by Nicola.
Lots of good comfort food in that eBook, to keep you going during the cooler months. If you’re lucky enough to be experiencing cooler months, that is.

In case you’re wondering about the board obsessively pictured in this post, I was lucky to get one from Michael & Lisa‘s lovely Etsy store, and they have another one up for sale. Love the texture and color on that thing.

I’ve got a few recipes coming up shortly, and will try to fight the recent lack of motivation in blogging I’ve been feeling.
What’s up with that? Get over it, self.
Considering this site’s hosting plan was just renewed for 3 more years, I’d better put it to great use.

Have a smashingly happy 2012, everyone!

Happy 2012! Man, these photos are making me want summer right now. The weather up here has been quite mild as well. It’s crazy! Didn’t even have snow until the new year.

Yum! Those oatcakes look so good. I’m looking forward to the recipes! Funnily, it seems like a lot of people are lacking motivation with their blogs lately.

Hasn’t the weather been crazy this season? We still don’t have any snow here, and today it was in the 50s! For Jan in MN that is pretty good, lol…I didn’t even wear a jacket :-)

Happy New Year and yay for the 3 more years!

  • First time commenter, but many a time visitor. I love this website. One of my closest friends is vegan and it’s always tricky to find a dessert that she can eat, so I’m glad I can count on you for that.
