Blog Tour
I was actively procrastinating yesterday, like I do pretty much every single day at any given moment, so I previewed a book called Bake: The Essential Companion on amazon. I rushed to the (currently poorly lit) kitchen to make the yeast fruit bread from that book, only whole grain-style: precisely 400 g whole wheat bread flour + 100 g whole spelt flour, in case you are previewing the recipe too or if you have the cookbook in front of you, and also baked at a higher temp of 400°F (200°C, or gas mark 6). Just because.
Procrastination never tasted so good. And the other bread recipes that I managed to catch a glimpse of also look quite promising.
In other, more self-centered news, Tami and I are pretty stoked to announce a wee little blog tour for our sandwich book, during which some of our (and your) favorite bloggers & cookbook authors will be telling you (and us) what they honestly think of the book, and/or post a recipe from it, and/or do an interview with us, and/or even hold a giveaway so that you can see for yourself if you don’t have the book yet.
It promises to be fun, so don’t you dare quit on us now.
(We made sure to stretch the event over a few weeks so that you don’t get too sick of hearing about sandwiches, or about us. Not that you ever would. Right.)
Here is the schedule…
Week of October 21: Lazy Smurf’s Guide to Life & Vegan Eats and Treats & Weekly Vegan Menu
Week of October 28: Seitan is my Motor & Vegan Crunk & Urban Vegan
Week of November 4: Olives for Dinner & Kim & Vegan Dad
Week of November 11: Eat Drink Better & Vegan Cookbooks Illustrated
Week of November 18: Vegan Yack Attack & Veg Blogger & Vegan Cookbook Aficionado
Week of November 25: Tahini Too & Vegan Feast Kitchen & Jess Sconé
In the meantime, I’m going back to watching season four of Fringe and enjoying it as if each episode were the most delicious vegan chocolate truffle anyone had ever sunk their teeth into. How poetic. (Or maybe I’m just hungry.)

Your book tour is gonna be fun!
